What this is
PRISM is not a blog. It is a framework for understanding reality.
It is a slow, deliberate attempt to synthesize timeless wisdom—drawn from Scripture, the great books, history, and hard-won experience—into practical frameworks for living wisely and building well.
The name is the method. White light enters a prism and emerges as a spectrum; a single reality, refracted, becomes legible. PRISM reads the world through seven lenses, in an order that ascends from first principles to the civilizations they make possible.
Every age believes itself the exception. The remedy is to think alongside those who came before—the texts that have survived because they answered questions that do not age. Scripture and the great books are not nostalgia; they are the longest-running conversation humanity has had about what is true and how to live. PRISM joins that conversation rather than restarting it.

Nothing large is repaired without first repairing something small. The individual—ordered in body, mind, and spirit—is the irreducible unit of every institution. Self-government precedes every other kind.
